To summarise the chain of events: first, PKR stabs Khalid in the back. Then Khalid and PAS stabs PKR in the back. Then, PAS stabs Khalid in the back. Then PKR stabs PAS in the back. Amidst all the backstabbing, DAP had better watch theirs! Lol! But eventually, it's the people's back that hurts most! Isn't that hilarious! What a circus!
After this drama, I wonder if these jokers can still talk about transparency, accountability, justice, etc. with a straight face! Clean & fair elections? Just look at the way PKR & DAP conducted their party elections. Seriously!
You know, the sad thing about the people is that they willingly allow themselves to be blackmail by politicians. Why is it that their problem always sounds as if it is the people's problems?
Have the people been made to feel beholden to them? If the people really believe they hold the power, then why are they so afraid of a Pakatan break-up? Are these 3 parties indispensable?
I mean, look at the incessant threats issued by LKS, LGE, et al, of PR breaking up this past week. What break-up? PR isn't even a real coalition but merely a label used by 3 different political parties out of convenience. Which is why, every now and then, they have to make a grand show to convince the people that they are still best buddies.
Anyway, sooooo, PAS has decided to continue to tango with DAP & PKR... well, I suppose principles go out the window when it comes to benefits or rewards.
Selangor MB crisis: PAS no longer supports Khalid, now backs Azmin and Wan Azizah
KUALA LUMPUR: PAS has now retracted its support for Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim as the Selangor Mentri Besar and nominated two candidates to replace the embattled leader to resolve the impasse. In a packed press conference here, deputy president Mohamad Sabu, also known as Mat Sabu, said that the party has named Bukit Antarabangsa assemblyman Azmin Ali and Kajang assemblyman Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as possible replacement.- http://www.thestar.com.my/News/Nation/2014/08/17/Selangor-MB-crisis-PAS-no-longer-supports-Khalid/
Khalid could call for an assembly sitting for a confidence vote. Looking at the current situation, I think he will lose the vote.
The other option is for Khalid to advise to dissolve the state assembly, if HRH the Sultan of Selangor agrees. Either way, Khalid's political future and his position as MB does not look too bright.
Well, at least one person received "a pleasant surprise" today... Azmin Ali. Lol. He's been eyeing the position for ages! Furthermore, according to PKR, Selangor "belongs" to them... Seems like the peninsular has been nicely carved out among the 3 parties in PR. How nice.
Selangor MB crisis: Azmin Ali 'pleasantly surprised' at being named as second candidate by PAS
PETALING JAYA: PKR deputy president Mohamed Azmin Ali was pleasantly surprised at PAS naming him as the second candidate to replace embattled Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim.
Azmin, who is Bukit Antarabangsa assemblyman, said his nomination, which came as a surprise, would be discussed at the Pakatan Rakyat presidential council later on Sunday.
“To me, what is more important is that PAS has shown that it remains committed towards Pakatan and intends to move forward with our common struggle in the future,” he told The Star.

Makes you wonder if this was all part of the plan doesn't it? Or if not, and if Azmin did really managed to hijack the Kajang Move... then he is certainly the one to watch!
If we recall back in 2013, Azmin had already reserved the MB post but was forced to grudgingly make way for Khalid.
GE13: Lay off MB issue, Wanita PKR chief Zuraida tells DAP, PAS
In an interview with news portal Antara Pos, Zuraida said: “When I read the newspapers that PAS and DAP wanted the MB to be retained...and Rani (Selangor PAS commissioner Dr Abdul Rani Osman) said he's ready to be the MB.“I thought, what is wrong with these people? Are they power crazy? Are they crazy for titles?” she added.Zuraida, re-elected Ampang MP in Sunday's polls, said: “A decision has yet to be made by PKR (on MB's post). The post is for Keadilan (PKR), why are they so eager to offer themselves and to name anyone for the post?”
Between Wan Azizah and Azmin, I think Azmin stands a better chance. But then, the decision rests with HRH the Sultan of Selangor. I wonder what Azmin would do next if he fails again this time... :)
