What is most disappointing is that despite catching the main suspect, he is a free man today because the prosecutors were unable to prove his guilt.
A murder suspect can skip bail, escape to Australia, obtains PR status, then decides to return home, arrested again, put on trial where the court subsequently frees him. Have the prosecutors and the judge overlooked the fact that he ran away and went into hiding? If he was innocent, why run away?
Can you blame the people from questioning the integrity of Malaysia's judicial system?
