It's all about the money. About RM3 Billion that's supposedly in the Selangor state government's coffers. Remember Azmin critising MB Khalid about not spending the money for 'development'? And the state assembly's decision to increase their own pay? Many questioned the wisdom of their actions. Many more blindly defended them. Hopefully now you see the real reason why they did it. It's all about the money. They are helping themselves to it while they still have the chance.
These politicians are treating the state's money and assets as their own.
There's talk that PSM might be contesting for the Kajang seat. I fully support PSM's candidacy. Among the political parties, I feel PSM is a party that have stuck to their principals. They were also played out and back-stabbed by the more powerful Pakatan Rakyat parties.

I hope the people of Kajang, especially the Chinese voters, will do the right thing. If your concerns about integrity, ethics and corruption are real, then you should reject those who do not live up to it. Reject those who betray the people's trust. Many voters from to the middle-ground are beginning to regret supporting Pakatan Rakyat last elections. They were misled and used. What did the Chinese gain from all that? Nothing, except to be seen by others as a hysterical and uncouth community.

Anwar confirmed as Kajang state seat candidate
Anwar the next MB? Guess the Pakatan Rakyat supporters didn't see this coming... PETALING JAYA: Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will contest the Kajang state seat in the upcoming by-election.
In a packed press conference at the PKR headquarters on Tuesday, Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim announced Anwar's candidacy for the state seat.
Asked if he agreed to Anwar running in the by-election, Khalid said: "If I did not agree, I would not be here."
Winning a state seat will enable Anwar to join the Selangor Legislative Assembly and take over the top job.Asked how his candidacy was decided upon for the Kajang state seat, Anwar said it was based on a consensus within PKR, and agreed to by DAP and PAS.
"They nominated me to enhance Selangor's performance, which was already very good. It is a good place to move PKR forward to Putrajaya," he added.
Anwar pledged to assist the state government in whatever way possible, but when probed about the kalimah Allah issue, the PKR adviser said he was with the Mentri Besar on the matter.
"It is an issue beyond party politics," he added.
Asked why he did not contest the state seat in GE13, Anwar said his name was only nominated now.
He also said it was "too premature" to discuss how he would balance his roles as opposition leader, Permatang Pauh MP, and potential assemblyman for the Kajang state seat.
When alerted to the rakyat's concerns over the lack of information and explanation concerning the upcoming by-election, Anwar said the party would "have to explain the rationale" behind the move.
Also present at the press conference was DAP adviser and Gelang Patah MP Lim Kit Siang, as well as PAS vice-president Salahuddin Ayub.
The N25 Kajang seat had fallen vacant following the sudden resignation of Kajang assemblyman Lee Chin Cheh on Monday.
It will be the second time a by-election is held to accommodate the Permatang Pauh MP.
His wife, Datin Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, stepped down as Permatang Pauh MP on July 31, 2008 and a by-election was held on Aug 26.At the time, Wan Azizah was Opposition Leader. Anwar won and was sworn into Parliament on Aug 28, taking over as the Opposition Leader. - SOURCE
PSM mulling over Kajang by-election contest
PETALING JAYA: Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) has revealed that it will not rule out the possibility to contest Kajang, following the resignation of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) assemblyman Lee Chin Cheh.
PSM secretary-general S Arutchelvan.
In a text message to The Star Online, PSM secretary-general S Arutchelvan said that many have urged the party to stand in the Kajang by-election "to teach PKR a lesson".
"In the last 24 hours, we have got lots of calls from people, especially young voters and NGOs asking us to stand in the Kajang by-election to teach PKR a lesson.
"PSM will check feedback and decide with our members. At this moment we are not ruling out anything," he said.
In the GE13, PSM, an opposition-friendly party contested against PKR in the Semenyih state seat, which falls next to the district of Kajang.
In 2008 general election, Arutchelvan contested and narrowly lost the seat.
Their political relationship has also reportedly turned sour as Pakatan Rakyat refused to accept PSM due to different political ideologies.
Earlier today, Pakatan announced that PKR supremo Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will contest the seat, an attempt seen by many to make him the next Mentri Besar replacing Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim who is under pressure to resign from his post. - SOURCE
