Thailand is facing another political crisis. Anti-government protesters have started to shutdown Bangkok to pressure Yingluck's party to resign & to make way for an unelected people's council to oversee political reform. Basically, they want to overthrow the government...

Anti-government demonstrators set up barricades Monday and turned back traffic on key roads in a bid to "shut down" Bangkok and thwart February elections and overthrow the nation's democratically elected prime minister....


....The protesters are demanding that Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra's administration be replaced by a non-elected "people's council" which would implement reforms they say are needed to end corruption and money politics. ...
